"People hear statistics, but they feel stories."

I've always gravitated towards science and a logical way of thinking, so I've always loved studying and analyzing data. The key thing I've learned is that data is only as powerful as the story that it conveys. There is so much power in the context of the data that is so often overlooked, and I appreciate the artistic side of using numbers to tell a story.

We are surrounded by so many data and numbers in our daily lives, and it seems like everything can be measured now. One of my goals is to hone my ability to story tell and communicate positive messages backed by quantitative evidence.
